The masts of the SS Richard Montgomery, a historic WW2 Liberty ship, were removed to mitigate risks from unexploded bombs. A marine company carried out the operation, with cranes attached to the final masts before removal. The action follows previous steps taken for Britain's riskiest shipwreck, ensuring the wreck site is secure.
