World Space Week 2026 is running from October 4 to 10 under the theme "Rocket Revolution," centred on how falling launch costs could bring space within reach of more countries and organisations. Google noted the event with a dedicated Doodle, while Adafruit got involved with the week.

The European Space Agency partnered with Pokemon GO to offer a special Astronaut Pikachu to players during the week. Katara also got involved with the event. World Space Week is the world's biggest yearly space celebration, observed across more than 90 countries.
