Ontario gas prices spike Thursday, Oakville plans mega-community - Inside Halton

Drivers in Ontario face a fuel price increase.

Gas prices across Ontario will go up on Thursday. Fuel retailers in Ottawa and the Toronto area will add 6 cents a litre. The new expected price for Toronto is 189.9 cents per litre. This follows one day of relief from winter-blend gasoline.

Diesel costs are also going up a lot in southern Ontario. Information shows the price hike affects the Greater Toronto Area and other parts of the province.
