'No Material Impact': Infosys On Trump's Green Card Crackdown - NDTV

Green Card Route Blocked for Eight Big Tech Firms

The United States has halted PERM labor certification for eight major tech companies, closing off a primary green card pathway for H-1B visa holders. The move puts pressure on a large number of Indian nationals working in the sector, who rely on that process to apply for permanent residency.

Indian IT firm Infosys says it does not foresee material impact from the suspension. The broader tech industry is signaling that the crackdown could push skilled foreign workers to move toward Canada, Australia, or other countries instead of the U.S.
