Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is back in the spotlight as a new film, The Social Reckoning, puts her account before the public. Starring Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White, the film recreates her choice to expose Facebook's internal research.
Haugen spoke to journalists she has "extreme worry" about a culture shift at Meta and believes Zuckerberg is pushing recklessly forward with AI. She said she hopes the film moves others to come forward, telling The Verge she wants it to inspire more whistleblowers.
